Did not work for me. I was so excited about finding wide calf boots that look cool and trendy, but these just did not work at all. Even though they say 'wide calf', they were not wide enough for me. They would not pull up all the way to my knee and squeezed my upper calf, highly unattractive. They were lined with some kind of fleecy fabric, which felt nice but would have been way too hot in the south where I live. They also smelled like vinyl, not leather. The website says leather, but I'm not sure that they are. The fit is true to size, a little loose, but that's fine if you want to wear socks.
